I am proud to be supporting the exciting campaign to bring back the open air swimming pool to Bailey Park in Abergavenny (my home town). I have taken on the role of committee secretary and we are starting to host a range of fundraising events to raise the initial £30,000 needed to undertake the first development phase.
There are two forthcoming events that should be as much fun as they are worthwhile- the first is a pub Quiz hosted by the Kings Arms Hotel (www.kingsarmsabergavenny.co.uk) on Thurs 5th March at 7.30pm (for teams of up to 6 people) and £2 entry
The second is a prestigious ‘May Ball’ at the Angel Hotel on the 30th May- this will include a three course meal, auction and live music- tickets are £55 each and can be booked through Domini on tel: 07773969325
